ABOUT me

After trying a variety of different therapies throughout my life, I discovered a common theme among them all: they all focused on the why behind my issue, not the how. Getting to the why was important for me, but the real transformation happened after I was introduced to the how. Since then, I’ve experienced a huge change in how I process life and how I interpret circumstances.

I learned that what we experience is shaped by the pictures we create in our minds and the words we tell ourselves. Once I started forming different images in my mind and using more empowering language with myself, my subconscious began to work with me rather than against me.

This is what I offer you: a chance to craft your life in the way you desire by helping you code your subconscious with empowering, transformative, and powerful beliefs.

Part Therapy

The Conscious mind encompasses our immediate awareness, is responsible for rational thinking, decision making and logical analysis. It processes information in a deliberate focused manner that allows us to engage with the present moment actively.

The Subconscious mind operates below the surface working behind the scenes to subtly influence our thoughts and actions it stores our long term memories beliefs and emotions and plays a crucial role in intuition creativity and habit formation. The Subconscious mind also acts as a filter for information by processing and interpreting stimuli

They work together to shape our perception of the world and guide our behaviourThe iceberg metaphor often used to show the relationship between the two. The conscious mind contains all the thoughts feelings and memories that are currently available to a person within their conscious awareness

When working with the clients subconscious mind in hypnotherapy I am dealing directly with the part of their mind that is responsible for their beliefs thoughts and patterns of behaviour, all of which are hidden from conscious view.

The conscious mind accounts for 5-10% of our minds processing power, whilst the conscious mind operates it is in a beta brain wave state.

The Subconscious accounts for 90-95% of our mind’s processing power, just as the body of the iceberg lies beneath the surface the subconscious is the same as in so much of what drives us is unknown and unseen.

By inducing the theta brain wave state in hypnotherapy we can access the subconscious and explore the client’s thoughts behaviours and habits.

The Conscious Mind is what we engage with everyday the critical thinking part of the mind that deals with planning judgment and decision making.

It is where the internal dialogue comes from, the tip of the iceberg is small illustrating the minimal amount of thoughts beliefs and feelings that are consciously available to us at any given time, studies show that a person can consciously hold only between 4 to 7 thoughts at once.
